| The budget for 2005 concentrated on making the economy the best of all the provinces in Korea and to satisfy a variety of residents' desires. Finances have been intensively invested to activate the local economy in many areas. These investments strengthened the competitiveness of the agricultural and commercial fishing industries due to the enforcement of the FTA, improvements to the welfare and quality of life of residents, the promotion of culture and the arts, expanded sports and tour facilities, and securement of the Social Overhead Capital(SOC). |
